Suze Returns is top qualifier for $269,459 West Texas Futurity
Suze Returns blasted to a daylight win in the 5th trial and set the top qualifying time for $269,459 West Texas Futurity on Friday at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino.
The two-year-old Oklahoma-bred daughter of High Rate of Return won her career debut by an impressive 2 and 1/4 lengths and stopped the clock for the 300 yard trial in 15.109 seconds, good for a 97 speed index. She paid $19.60 on a $2 win ticket.
The top qualifier is trained by Juan M. Gonzalez for owner Joe Rios of El Paso, Texas. Jaime Parga Leos was the winning pilot.
