After years of singing at church then later at coffee shops, bars, weddings and quinceañeras, his voice has finally paid off! El Paso’s own, Ryan Gonzalez, was recently chosen as one of eight finalists in the 6th Season of La Voz Mexico, the Mexican version of “The Voice.” Gonzalez made it to the finals of the popular singing competition after performing “How Long” by American singer Charlie Puth during the show’s semifinal which aired Dec. 10, 2017. His coach, Reggaeton singer Maluma, selected him as only one of two finalists on his team.
